The house that is now the "home" of Maple Memories Craft House was originally built in 1905. It has been redecorated for a more modern feel, but the owners took great care in making sure the beauty of the original house was not lost. Gather together in a relaxing atmosphere to preserve your memories or make new ones while scrapbooking, quilting, stamping, beading, sewing, or participating in any other craft you might enjoy.
Maple Memories is located in McPherson, Kansas, 55 miles north of Wichita, and 30 miles south of Salina. The retreat offers ample space for creativity in workrooms with 12 individual 5" tables and 12 ergonomic chairs, as well as many craft related tools for your use. The workrooms are also equipped with bright lighting, individual Ott-lites, and plug-ins for each table.
Renters and their guests will enjoy other ammentities of the main floor including a fully stocked kitchen and dining room with enough seating for everyone to share a meal together. Fellowship continues with the use of our 2 porches that allow for you to enjoy the sights and sounds of McPherson, which often includes the beautiful sound of church bells or bagpipes in the distance. In addition, the main floor features a "coffee" room with a small table and quaint stove...the perfect place to sip coffee while reading a good book! Our Relaxation Room allows you to enjoy a massage if you so choose. The basement is equipped with extra workspace, along with an exercise room and comfortable couches for TV viewing. When you or your guests want to retire for the night, you can head upstairs to one of our 12 twin beds at no additional charge.
